Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to introduce myself as Vaibhav Tiwari (VT) working in the area of Virology (study of human pathogenic viruses). I did my PhD in Biotechnology. My current research goal is not only to understand the molecular mechanism of herpes virus infection into human target cells but also to develop novel therapeutics against herpes virus and various other viruses.
Recently we discovered novel pathways of herpes virus infection in human cells of ocular (eye) origin (Journal of Cell Biology, 2006)and now we are developing novel therapeutics using phage display techniques to generate specific peptides to block viral infection.
I need some research funding on this project at Western University of Health Sciences (Pomona, CA). I already have some candidate that will turn into useful drug in future to treat herpes and other viral infection. However the research funding support is needed to advance the useful research work.
