Seeing that there is a void of place catering to the urban crowd my idea of (URL removed) was born in 2007. I desinged (URL removed) with one focus on mind, user utility. Metrosling contains four major area that caters to the crown - Connect, Style, Hangout, Finds
Connect - Allows user of major metropolitia area to connect locally. Metrosling is the only website that allows user to drill down to neighborhood level to view other users in their neighborhood. We also allow user shout out board to ask the (URL removed) any question they may have. Whether you are new to your neighborhood and looking for the best gym or looking for a great date idea - ask the (URL removed) community.
Style - Brings in the Web 2.0 concept, letting user uploand and vote on to select the hottest style and fashion trends in major metro areas. At any given time, fashion around major metropolitian areas are different. Users can come to (URL removed) to view fashion trends not only around the U.S. but around the world.
Hangout - Your hot style is meaningless unless you show it of at the hot hangout around your city. Again we allow users to upload and vote on the hottest hangout in thir city. Similar to connect, we allow users to drill down to their neighborhood. Next time you want to stay close to home and find a hot hang out, come to (URL removed).
FINDS - This section is about utility more than anything. It a natural extension of other section of the site. We included this to allow users to interect with their neighbors when they want to find a roommate or sell a used couch.
