At this point, I would like to know where I can find information about the sales of start-up companies in different industries. Prospective investors typically want to know what a competing start-up company sold for, similar to a comparable sales analysis.
Note: the industry categories are limited and don't allow for an "other" category. My firm is actually a diversified financial services or "wealth management" firm. I'm working on developing web-based software and am also advising another startup on a unique electronic catalog software that's in beta testing.
