PocketbookU is a site were college students can buy and sell their textbooks to each other to avoid the cost of the university bookstores. We plan to eliminate the monopolistic business practices endorsed by the university bookstores and buy back programs. We plan to change the world of textbooks, one university at a time! Users are also able to find local jobs and internships, reserve venues for parties, group meetings, social gatherings, find and/or become tutors, post upcoming events on behalf of their group, purchase music, and use a classified section similar to Craigslist that tailors to their needs or wants.
