I am a parent of a gymnastics child. My son is very talented and his gymnastics program was cancelled. I am trying to help his Cuban coach, Jorge Azahares, start his own gymnastics membership program. The business will be ran by him with parental help/advisory staff. There are several other parents, besides myself, that are working on this. We've submitted a business plan and are currently in the process of renting/leasing a facility. Funding is a problem because there is not a hugh amount of startup money. We are asking the realtor for 30-60 setup and can only afford around $1000/month rent. The realtor has been kind enough to take up this project but I really don't know if it's doable without financial help. There are a couple of other gyms here in town but only one offers a boys program. As a parent I have found that the boys program supports the girls program. The girls have the best equipment, more resources, etc. There is a need here for a boys only gymnastics program or the boys program being the main goal. Jorge has excellent credentials and it would be great for the kids in this area. Gymnastics has kept my son in fantastic physical shape and he loves it. He is only 7 and has an excellent future in gymnastics but nowhere to apply it. We would appreciate any help that an investor could give us.
