Description:
Unique opportunity to invest in a startup that’s not really a startup! Want to take advantage of a blue ocean strategy and own a billion dollar market?
RockHouse Live Media Productions is a cutting edge entertainment technology company offering top notch live event production and instant media distribution. Our services provide new and important revenue streams to recording artists, record labels, venues and more, in most cases with no startup cost on the part of the artist.
Founder Zach Bair was CEO of DiscLive, the company that pioneered the concept with the Pixies in 2004, recording over 1000 CDs a night in less than 20 minutes right after the concert, and going on tour to every stop with the band. Bair led DiscLive to be honored in Billboard for having over $500,000 sales in less than 3 weeks of "instant" live discs, and grew revenues of his parent company Immediatek over 10X in less than a year. Through Bair’s leadership, the company went on to record such artists as the Doors of the 21st Century, Vertical Horizon, Billy Idol, the Toadies, and many more, and eventually caught the attention of Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks.
DiscLive was sold to him in 2006; however, the new ownership was unable to duplicate the success, primarily due to lack of deep music industry relationships, and shut the company down shortly thereafter, leaving a void in the market in a time when labels and artists are screaming for new forms of revenue.
We, most of the same team that was involved with DiscLive (as well as some of the original investors), and the only group to make mass live CDs commercially viable, are currently rebuilding our infrastructure and seek funding for rapid growth and market penetration based on our previous successes in DiscLive, with late spring as a target date to begin recording major artists again. We are already engaged with Billboard Magazine and actively reaching out to potential clients. Our research has shown the market is much more viable in 2009 than it was even a couple of years ago. We are also expanding our unique services to include “direct to iPod” distribution, which we have pioneered at Billboard B2B conferences; “direct to DVD” which produces mass copies of professional quality DVDs after an event; and more exciting plans, such as an iPhone application we wish to develop that offers our unique live content distribution platform. We believe in "lifestyle distribution," in that our business processes, unique technology and proven skills are used to deploy live content in a way never before done.
This is a serious opportunity, not to be confused with an idea or concept. Our business processes are proven, and our business model is honed and polished. Now we just need the financial bandwidth to relaunch and go after a market we know that we can own.
