Grow Fit Kids, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is pushing to reduce the rate of childhood obesity in
America. The MISSION of Grow Fit Kids is to help as many as we can, for as long as we can, through a rigorous
educational and practical training curriculum designed to PUSH AGAINST the childhood obesity pandemic. Through teaching kids, the science of the body along with healthy nutritional habits, we will forge proactive gains, instead of reactive losses for, generations to come. At this current moment GFK is seeking $800,000 in funding for a 180 day or less term to purchase the current
property that will house the GFK project. The property consists of 5.2 acres of land with approximately 22 thousand SqFt of building space and 10,500 SqFt of canopy space. We are approximately 150 meters away from the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte NC. The purpose of our need is to buy out the current contract from the current owner for three- six months until we are funded by the USDA. We are in the second stage of planning review with the town of Harrisburg and we are awaiting our final approval of plans. We have been awarded funds from the USDA specifically for the purchase of this land and this building, which is a dedicated line item on our budget. This line item payment will pay off the $800,000 loan (and R.O.I) we are seeking.
