Description: Change lifes! The Family Christian Athletic Center is a vision for an above average modern state of the art family wellness facility. The vision for the facility is more like a small city than a gym. Offering services above, beyond and out of the ordinary in a facility which can only be described as a multimedia experience. Planted in booming Lexington, South Carolina the center is sure to boost an already soaring local economy and be one of the 2,000 + new business arriving recently to the community which is home to mainly a young, married, wealthy family oriented Christian community. The center is to address not only the physical aspects of getting into shape and staying in shape with a state of the art gym and pool, but the mental and spiritual aspects as well. To accomplish this the center is to house an onsite phyciatrist for an open door couseling center free to memebers. Summer camps and recreatinal league sports teams are available for members. Focusing on any and all aspects of well being both physical and spiritually the center strives to offer a large array of services and programs to all ages to promote a healthy lifestyle. A few of the programs and services include a morining worship service with the ever popular and growing contemporary music and worship style monday through friday at 5:22 am (program called 5:22 with Biblical references)in an arena concert style setting, a health food cafe which is open to the public, basketball courts, indoor soccer feild, indoor arena football feild, tennis and racket ball courts, rock climbing walls, foot tracks, arcades, pool tables, full size, full function movie theatre, indoor skateboarding park, indoor pools, onsite Christian music store, various classes and seminars both traditional health center type classes as well as faith based classes and seminars. The center is to have roaming personal trainers for all who mingle the workout area providing instruction, assistance and spiritual guidance and encouragement. The super sized center is to be a host venue for local events both faith based and non faith based such as music concerts, sports events etc. Local governments are expected to contribute to this economic stimulating venture.
