Description:
Classic Car restoration owned and operated by veterans. I am looking to raise $500,000 for property aquisition/equipment/vehicles/staff. Travis king was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He majored in Architectural Drafting for four years in High School and was on the chess team. He also played football, baseball, and participated in the JROTC (NAVY) program. Travis joined the military in 2000 and served in the Army for five years. Within those five years, Mr. King deployed to Iraq, where he proudly defended his country and performed his daily duties as a Heavy Wheeled Diesel Mechanic (63S).
I am trying to raise $500,000+ to open a Classic Car Auto Restoration & Dealership shop owned and operated by veterans in Chicago, Illinois. I have always had a passion for old school cars. I would like to share my passion with my fellow veterans who have the skills and knowledge to restore pieces of history. Funding will be used for property aquisition, shop equipment, supplies, staffing, and the purchase of vehicles to be restored.
I would like to raise the funds with-in one month. Raising this money will be very helpful towards my goal. By creating jobs, restoring history, building up my community, creating work study programs for our younth, and bringing my fellow veterans together to work once again as a TEAM.
This means so much to me, and I am very greatful that I have this opportunity to share my vision with you as a Army Veteran. It has been very tough since my 1month old daughter died of SIDS two years ago. I havent been able to bounce back because it stills hurts. My family & I still struggle from day to day just to keep going on with everyday life. I would like to start this business in name of my deceased daughter Aubrey Nichole King. Please help me make this dream a reality, and a chance to help our youths restore a piece of history. Thank you for your time and energy and may God Bless you all.
