SGR Energy blends and markets #6 Fuel oil for paper mills, steel mills, utility plants and bunker fuel for big ships. Domestic and global markets mandate the necessity for end burners (Power Plants, Cement Plants, Steel Mills and other direct end user companies of Fuel Oil), to use less carbon intensive fuels that result in reduced emissions. This has increased the demand for cleaner-burning, yet cost-competitive Fuel Oil alternatives.
SGR’s Fuel Oil is the most logical solution that is currently available for improving specifications, extending the supply and increasing the margins in producing #6 Fuel. The SGR Energy proprietary fuel blending methods allows for multiple components of cat cracker slurry, distillates and petchem bottoms, but no styrene or butylene. When blended into the finished product, the blended product produces a fuel oil comparable to any major refinery product and can be delivered to the terminal at a much lower cost.
