WWFS main business goal is to use Type 6 Engines (Brush Trucks) in the suppression of wild land forest fires throughout the nation working with the Federal Government and help control fires when doing prescribed burns. The engines contain very powerful engines with 4x4 transmissions; these trucks carry the finest in fire skid units with 150-350 gallon poly tanks, 18hp Darley pump, and foam proportioner w/ many other amenities. The US Forest Service currently has a solicitation to obtain the services of water handling equipment to include wild land fire-fighting engines (Type 3 through 6), support water tenders (Types 1 through 3), and tactical water tenders (Types 1 and 2) as defined in this solicitation, for local, Regional, and Nationwide fire suppression, all hazard activities, and severity. The Blanket Purchase Agreement resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ) may be used by multiple State and Federal agencies. This solicitation by the Government will result in multiple agreements. The dollar limitation for any individual order is $100,000.00. Since the needs of the Government and availability of Contractor's resources during an emergency cannot be determined in advance, it is mutually agreed that, upon request of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish the resources listed herein to the extent the Contractor is willing and able at the time of order. Due to the sporadic occurrence of Incident activity, the placement of any orders IS NOT GUARANTEED.
