My (URL removed) was founded as a direct result of hiring a very bad Contractor to install a new AC system at our home. The Contractor connected the drain line in the attic to our central vacuum cleaning system and for 11 months 2.3 gallons an hour seeped under our hardwood floors without us knowing and created a mold toxic environment that killed our dog, put me in hospital and now requiring a double lung transplant.
My Daughter Isabel (21) decided to do something about the problem of bad Contractors and with my help we have built a platform and APP over the past 18 months that will generate a trusted way of hiring fully background checked Contractors. Our platform is unlike Home Advisor that only checks the owner of the business, we check every employee entering the homeowners property. The $400B industry has very few market leaders and is still growing. We have already been approached to be acquired by a competitor.
We also supply the Contractors with a software package to run their business, track employees, estimate, invoice, collect payments, manage projects all in real time from anywhere. All employees carry ID with picture and date of background check, this is sent to the customer when the Contractor is on their way with real time coordinates and arrival time.
