Description: The Smartmoney cash recovery system was designed to aid in the apprehension of a suspect after the robbery has occurred. Once activated the bait device is placed in a standard teller tray where it remains dormant for up to 5 years. During a robbery the teller removes the bait device from the tray and gives it to the suspect. When the bait device is removed from it’s cradle the system becomes active. The device will immediately begin transmitting location coordinates to the software. By logging in to the Smart Money software from any PC or smart phone the precise location of the device is displayed in real time. This information along with any other descriptive information obtained during the robbery can be provided to the proper authorities for apprehension. CII Technologies founder and CEO Scott couch has dedicated a career to the security industry. During his twenty year career he has been present during two bank robberies and assisted law inforcement with countless evaluations after crime has occurred. This first hand experience has brought forth a product that for the first time will play a role in apprehending the suspect after a crime is committed. In many situations CCTV equipment recorded the crime and alarm systems reported it, beyond that it was often only luck that an arrest took place. In one situation a robber fled on a motorcycle onto a rural Highway, If only the direction the suspect exited was known apprehension would have been highly possible. The SmartMoney Cash Recovery System will not only increase the potential for asset return but will have a significant impact on crime by removing dangerous criminals from the street. For many years techniques such as detailed currency documentation and devices such as dye packs have been the only source for cash recovery after a theft. Not any more. The Smartmoney Cash Recovery system is designed to be marketed to almost anyone, from Banks and Credit Unions to convenience stores and pawn shops. Any location that is subject to a robbery will benefit from this product. Now lets talk about the system. The SmartMoney cash Recovery System consists of the low maintenance bait device, the false activation enhanced bait tray and the end user software web portal. First lets talk about the bait device. This patented design utilizes a stack of artificial currency, the voided currency is clamped together by the lightweight clamshell housing, this is where the electronics needed to provide both GPS and cellular tracking are located. The system is powered by a common 9 volt battery also located in the housing. This battery can be easily replaced by the end user any time simply by releasing the provided bill strap and removing the authentic currency provided by the end user. Custom circuitry has been built into the design to allow the system to operate from a 9 volt disposable battery. Most alkaline batteries have a manufacturer determined shelf life of 5-7 years therefore the unit can remain in a dormant stage for up to the that period and still provide enough power to run the unit. A bait device with a new battery will provide tracking for up to 16 hours. The SmartMoney Cash recovery System bait device weighs within one once of a non modified stack of bills and measures approx 5/8” thick. The device is virtually undetectable. The patented bait cradle has several unique features. The plastic used to manufacture the tray is colored to match most common cash trays making it difficult to detect. The cradle has four high density non ferrous earth magnets. The magnets located in the bottom of the tray form a slight bond with the 9 volt battery decreasing the possibility of false activation should the cash tray be mishandled. The magnets located in each side of the tray align with circuitry within the device isolating the battery thus rendering the unit dormant. The bait and the cradle are designed to allow the system to function properly with the bait placed in any direction. The cradle is secured in place using a provided Velcro strip. A simple procedure will activate and test your unit. You are now ready to place the device in your desired location. Quarterly testing is recommended. To test the unit simply remove the bait from the tray for approx five minutes and confirm that tracking has begun. Replace the battery with any off the shelf 9 volt battery and place unit back in cradle. Tracking the bait Our software has been custom designed to make tracking the bait unit very simple. Once a bait device has been activated you will receive notification via an email (If desired). The SmartMoney Cash Recovery Tracking Software can be accessed from any PC or smart phone with web access. Connect to (URL removed) , login using your personal username and password. This will take you to the home screen, you will see any active devices in the upper left corner, simply click on the desired unit and you will then see a google earth map with a crumb trail leading to your device. The bait device will update every few seconds for up to 15 hours. This information can now be shared with the proper authorities along with vehicle and or suspect description to result in apprehension. CII Technologies understands that in order to market this product properly a national footprint will be required. It is our intention to establish ourselves as a manufacturer and to distribute SmartMoney to a network of dealers.
