My name is Rob Myrick and I am in the planning stages of building a brand for an online coupon business. The brand will be an easy, fun, and professional way for shoppers to get the local discounts they want. The site will first serve only three or four cities/counties (in the metro-east) and then expand accordingly. This may even be a franchise opportunity in the future.
The difference between my idea and other companies is the focus on local businesses. Although other online coupon businesses allow you to search coupons in a specific zip code, most sites still only provide discounts on national businesses, neglecting the small business in that location.
