Description:
Here at Martial Starts, I welcome students from as young as three years old. I have a program designed specifically for kids ages 3–6, and it is called the “Little Dragons” program. I teach these kids kicking and punching, but more importantly, I teach them how important it is to respect themselves, their parents, other students, and authority figures. We also do exercises in which they develop coordination (obstacle courses, balance drills, etc.). I also incorporate “self-defense” for kids into my lessons, and teach them the importance of not talking to strangers, and other safety skills that they can understand at their age. My program helps these kids have a better sense of themselves, to do better in school, and to pay attention to their attitudes and behaviors.
