Description: Shot Clock, LLC “Take your shot before the clock runs out!” Venture Description Shot Clock, LLC will be the premier, high-energy, themed restaurant and bar in Southwestern Jackson County, Missouri. The establishment will focus on attracting patrons from Jackson County and the other two closely surrounding counties. With relatively no major competition near, Shot Clock, LLC plans to corner the market and meet the demands of the locals with this much needed venue. The restaurant will be located just southeast of 135th and State Line Road. The venue will occupy approximately 5000 square feet. The restaurant will make all menu items from scratch using the freshest, local ingredients. The interior will include seating for 150 and a merchandise/carry-out counter. The lunch menu will be unique, made-to-order items. Dinner will vary nightly according to seasonal availability of fresh produce (standard menu items will also be available). Management and Organization Plan Once opened, Shot Clock, LLC will have an exceptional management team to guide its success. The owner, Rhea Moor, III has 14 years restaurant and management experience. The rest of the management team have been hand selected and possess knowledge and experience in the restaurant service industry as well. A solid team of business advisors are in place to ensure continued success of the establishment. Marketing Plan Ongoing marketing efforts will include newspaper ads, radio ads, live remotes, coupons, flyers, email clubs, internet coupons, promotions, special events, giveaways, contests, and brochures. The uniqueness and exceptional service of the restaurant will create word-of-mouth advertising, a very effective tool—news travels fast. The restaurant’s location is highly visible, and the community has been waiting to see what business will fill the empty space. Financial Plan Funds needed to accomplish the goal referenced above will be $1,250,000. The applicant will require the entire $1,250,000 to successfully start and operate this project for five full calendar years. If further funds are needed within those five years, Shot Clock, LLC will continue to grow and operate off of the income from sales and profits. Shot Clock, LLC will also grow beyond one establishment. This venue has the opportunity to become a nationwide chain.
