No Excuses!!! MD is a networking group for licensed Physicians to help better inform them of the benefits and risks of Narcotic Prescription. Social Gatherings will be held randomly thru out the state to continue education on the benefits and risks of the narcotic prescriptions therefore also discussing the problem at hand and what resources are in the member’s local community to help patients that may have a problem. Along with the membership will be a secure database for physicians to report to. The database will follow all HIPPA and DEA guidelines. The “No Excuses!!! MD” system will maintain a secure database of all transactions for controlled substances completed by networking members. This database system will be available online for any DEA licensed professionals, in the State of Florida, to join for a very minimal joining and monthly Maintance fee. By joining the network and actively using the system I am confident that the database will quickly become a standard tool for physicians to provide better care to their patients throughout the state. Anyone with a DEA number will be encouraged to join and take full advantage of the peace of mind the system will provide to them as well as the educational information provided to them. By using the system properly and reporting all controlled prescriptions written, the system will be able to enhance the ability of health care providers to coordinate proper and safe medical care. The database will be searchable online and will be available anywhere one has internet access. Clinics can use the program to check the history of new patients and to monitor on-going treatment. No Excuses!!! MD Is another tool that doctors can add to their toolkit for preventing and intervening against misuse and diversion of prescription drugs.
