Hello-
I am uniquely combining 2 aspects of Adult Care Services and becoming a LLC. My business is REGISTERED. I am fine-tuning an Adult Day Program which is private pay. Legally I am permitted 10 clients prior to expanding for acceptance of insurance payments. This venture includes CLIENTS, offering a "9-5" daily schedule COMBINED with a 24/7 AFH (Adult Foster Home) which accepts BOTH private pay and guaranteed insurance payments. The latter will house RESIDENTS living on the property. The building/residence is secured, and funding is needed for equipment and some structural changes.
The Adult Day Program is a cognitive-based approached schedule which permits residents to incorporate themselves along with the activities of the day program IF they choose to participate. It is a great opportunity to support community residents in conjunction with others who are relocating/retiring to the area or have relatives close by, and is a wonderful "transitional" setting for persons being discharged from a rehabilitation/hospital setting and those not ready for "facility" care.
There is much demand for this service in my area, and I look to expand in other regions as well. My motto is "The essential alternative to facility care".
