Description: Dangerwear is a township small business. It's a Clothing Label, with graphic design and Photography. Dangerwear has grown from a small idea for a love couple to a fully fledge street fashion label. The label is based in South Africa, Cape Town; in a Township named Nyanga. Nyanga is a township in Cape Town, South Africa. Its name in Xhosa means ‘moon’ and it is one of the oldest black townships in Cape Town. It was established as a result of the migrant labor system. In the early fifties black migrants were forced to settle in Nyanga as Langa became too small. Nyanga is one of the poorest and most dangerous parts of Cape Town. Its unemployment is estimated at around 70% and HIV/AIDS is a huge community issue. In the early eighties the youth targeted heavy drinking and shebeens as obstacles to political change. They destroyed shebeens with petrol bombs and stones forcing many operators to close down. Nyanga is made up by nine townships (Lusaka, KTC, Old Location, Maumau, and Zwelitsha, Maholweni Hostels”, Black City, White City and Barcelona & Europe) Dangerwear represents the best home grown designs. The company's excellent designs have got a unique township style to produce a range of unlimited editions and designs. Grandkanjani Records is a record label founded by Mxolisi Madela. Current acts include Dj Maveti, Mxista and Sxiva. Mxolisi Mxista Madela is the founder and current CEO of Grandkanjani Records and an artist of Dangerwear Prodution. As a producer he is credited as a key figure in the popularization of Newcross, a style of rap music characterized as synthesizer-based with slow, heavy beats. Personal Information Grandkanjani is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. Through lyrics, the method is that our evolutionary and cognitive explanation of how and why any individual would find Grandkanjani funny.
