I started my company in July 2007, initially i was very into Japanese 'Harajuku' fashion trends, and American & Japanese brands that have come off the back of that.. such as Hello Kitty & Tokidoki, some of which are extremely hard to get hold of in the UK, my business started as i ordered some t-shirts of one of those brands from the USA, i paid around £25 for the items and had to pay £50 in shipping, and was then charged an extra £40 on delivery! i was outraged!! so i set about designing a range of British themed graphics but with Japanese inspiration, featuring cute, unique, designs that you see in (URL removed) completely British, this is something i have not seen done before and that's how Pirate Kisses Clothing started... I have a website & online store selling clothing & accessories.. which i am trying to expand and get out there at the moment. I feel that my British themes & Japanese style is something completely unique to the UK and i look forward to taking my business up a level.
