Description:
Energy Independent Equestrian Community.
Spirit Meadows is a Land Development project that embraces alternative energy and land conservation. This development will utilize clean energy from its own natural resources to generate necessary power for the homes and businesses located within the community featuring solar, wind, geo-thermal and hydro-power as the renewable sources of energy. This Equestrian Community will be energy independent from city and county resources.
Spirit Meadows is looking for funding to purchase and develop 640 acres or more of land in Southeastern Michigan to build this development. We will transform this land into several small residential villages, a first class Equestrian Facility, Banquet Hall and Natural Park, with a river or lake and trails for walking and horseback riding. We will welcome school field trips and educational tours to help people understand the importance of renewable energy and the impact we are having on our environment.
The development will be a complete green community. Homes and Businesses will use Solar panels to generate their electricity. The system will use Geo-Thermal energy for both heating and cooling. Hot Water will be heated with Solar or Geo-Thermal heat.
All the homes and businesses throughout the property will be connected to the central electrical power storage tank for emergency power. Included on the property will be wind turbines and micro-hydro power systems. These two energy sources will store energy in main power storage tanks for back-up resources for the community. If a home or business does not have enough solar power to run their electrical needs, they will use the community electricity until their solar has been recharged.
This Energy Independent community will be a benchmark for future towns and cities’, allowing us to break free from our dependence on oil and other non-renewable resources. Website: (URL removed)
