Description:
A New Kind of Luxury In-Room Publication
When a traveler checks into an A-list hotel in New York, he or she often encounters an in-room magazine that doesn’t match the quality of the establishment. The guest has a mediocre reading experience and misses out on useful information about how to enjoy the city. Advertisers, who have typically paid premium dollars for placement, find their investment sub-optimal. There’s a mismatch between the caliber of the hotel and the quality of the in-room magazine. Lifestylous changes this unfortunate dynamic.
By taking the style and look from the high-end hardcover coffee-table books and the content from the luxury magazines, while improving the reader experience Lifestylous is a new kind of in-room publication.
Through 260 pages, Lifestylous combines thought-provoking editorial with high-end advertising and useful, unique maps of Manhattan. The first 120 pages of the book is packed with information about dining, shopping, museums, nightlife, and (URL removed) second half of the book is essentially an upscale lifestyle magazine that talks about luxury, housing, travel, design, and trends.
We are now in funding mode, seeking an initial equity investment of $60,000 to produce the first edition of the book. I will personally oversee every detail of the publishing process.
- The in-room publication business model has been proven. We are simply taking it to a new level.
- The company has two agreements in place with top New York Hotels to distribute the book, with strong interest from influential hotels regarding future publications.
- I am experienced. With my strong experience in all aspects of the publishing process, I am solving a problem that affects guests at A-list hotel in New York: The in-room magazine that doesn’t match the quality of the establishment, while minimizing costs and lowering the investment risk at the BOP drastically compared to other publication with full staffs.
