Description:
BullCredit seeks to address an under-reported, pervasive problem facing law firms large and small: reducing A/Rs and encouraging payment from no-pay and slow-pay clients.
Problem:
In the legal industry, suing clients for non-payment is costly, affects insurance rates, invites bar complaints, results in adverse publicity, and is, in a word, risky. BullCredit aims to change all that.
Solution:
BullCredit is a web-based platform that allows commercial law firms to report non-paying clients to a shared, subscription-based data base/website. Approved by the Florida bar, Texas bar, Virginia bar, and DC bar, with other approvals pending, BullCredit gives law firms a new tool to reduce write-offs and enhance revenue.
Additionally, BullCredit seeks to build a proprietary algorithm, available on the BullCredit website, for law firms to assess economic risks presented by various clients, filling a need that D&B reports simply don't cover, and allowing law firms to get away from haphazard retainers that all too often are improperly sized.
Current Status and Funding Needs: the website is operational and several sales have been made, resulting in over 300+ lawyers having access to the platform. Having established proof of concept, BullCredit seeks funding to (1) permit a broad roll-out of the existing platform, and (2) fund the development of a next generation algorithm.
