Description: Dzambuling Imports, a California corporation, has secured the exclusive long term US distribution rights for Lhasa Beer - "Beer From The Roof Of The World" - the only Tibetan beer on the world market. It is produced in Tibet by the Tibet-Lhasa Brewing Company, Ltd., a joint venture between the European conglomerate The Carlsberg Group and a domestic corporation. It is the world's highest brewery and only one in the Tibetan Autonomous Region. It has an open capacity of 12 million cases annually. A veteran malt beverage sales and management team is in place and significant distribution commitments have already been secured. Breakeven is projected in the 3rd quarter of 2009. In 2010, the 500K annual case volume benchmark to become a candidate for acquisition will be passed. Brands change hands at 2x to 5x times gross. Sales are projected to exceed $44mm / 2mm cases by the end of 2013. Lhasa Beer has been specially re-formulated for the American market by master brewer Alan Kornhauser winner of 5 gold and 2 bronze medals in 4 years at the Great American Beer Festival. It is an all-malt Euro-style lager made with all-natural ingredients including; pure Himalayan spring water, world famous Saaz hops, and local Tibetan barley. Lhasa will appeal to all of social conscience by being a socially responsible product and donating 10% of profits to philanthropy in Tibet. The current topical relevance and widespread public sympathy for Tibet, the brand's ethically and socially responsible positioning, the "cool" / "hot" factor, preliminary market response, and consumer polling all augur for quick acceptance of the product.
