In addition to the deal flow of early stage companies which the Fund’s related companies bring to it, the Fund’s SBIC will bring it the ability to leverage the financing of real estate assets for these companies as well as to generate additional revenues for the Fund. There are very few similar SBIC’s in existence and the Fund has received assurances from the relevant authorities that it will be able to form such an SBIC once it has the $2 million in capitalization needed. Its transactions will essentially be sold to financial institutions so that its capital will remain intact while generating origination revenues.
