The monument design serves as a visual gateway to the circle city and all that it has to offer. It would be accessible for tourists in several different ways. It would be the tallest structure in Indianapolis and the tallest monument in the United States. The monument would have facets of other monuments in the United States but would be one of a kind because of its combination of facets and because of it's height, accessibility, interactivity, and symbolism. The monument would be a tourist attraction for the above reasons and would also permit the generation of revenue for the city and for the cost of the monument. The monument would become not only an icon for Indianapolis, but a national and international icon, much like other monuments that it would reflect, yet all in one grand, one-o
