QuarterNote was started in 2007 by a talented, and experienced group of tech entrepreneurs focused on iPhone applications and mobile advertising. QuarterNote's first app maps local music scene content - bands, artists, bars, lounges, concerts and festivals onto the iPhone, and sells placement & directory services around the content - just like mobile yellow pages. Of course, it works nicely with music, but could also be applied to food & restaurants, financial services, travel etc.

After a year's work, the beta version is almost ready and the company needs a small amount of funding to finalize the programming and begin the sales process to bands, artists, bars, lounges, concerts and festivals, and to local and national sponsors.
