With over 20 years of study in Japanese martial arts and society, JAD has come up with a unique combination of products and services not to be found anywhere else, from modern Japanese art to the most ancient of collectibles and instruction. Japan Arts Design is the USA representative for the world's leading Japanese contemporary calligrapher, Hiroyuki Nakajima, and has been working diligently with him since JAD hosted his USA debut in December of 2006 during Art Basel. Now, JAD, in collaboration with Habib International, present Master Nakajima's "Miami Collection", along with other rare and beautiful Samurai swords and antiques, at the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, FL. Japan Arts Design's Budo Business division focuses on the classical instruction of Japanese swordsmanship and fencing, along with some other forms of empty handed self defense. Instruction of these arts is overseen by the highest of professors in Japan. It is also through these connections that Budo Business is proud to provide the highest quality in classical martial arts equipment directly from Japan. Japan Arts Design also works closely in organizing events with several worldwide organizations, such as the International Martial Arts Federation, Ryushin Jigen Ryu- USA, the Japan Cultural Center, and the Consulate General of Japan in Miami. These affiliations bring many wonderful opportunities to study and enjoy Japanese culture as well as strengthen our ties oversees. Aside from Japan Arts Design's focus on East Asia, JAD has started a new division- Frank & Son. This division focuses on acquiring rare English fox hunting and gentlemen's wear as well collectibles of the highest quality.
