A unique situation in that although this is a start-up, it has a proven track record. I am seeking funding for a specialty cookie manufacturing plant. The company was operating profitably and producing well over 20 million in revenue when a financial partner embezzled money from the company and employee 401ks and the company had to declare bankruptcy. All equipment was sold and the company is starting from scratch. The cookie produced was a unique item that was sold through grocery and club stores. These same stores have requested that the cookie be made again and are ready to purchase. There is a detailed business plan and many of the original managers are still available, ready to start up production again. None of the managers or managment was involved in the embezzlement, except to be badly hurt financially along with the rest of the employees. The start up capital being sought is 6 to 8 million.
