We started this company a little over 1 year ago, after 2 years research. We grow Kenaf and contract farmers to grow kenaf for us. Currently we have developed three main products horse bedding, small animal bedding and industrial absorbents. These are from the processed core. The demand is more than what we can supply. The bast 0r bark we currently sell to local bag manufactures, but if we can purchase the processing equipment for this we can sell in the international market for triple of what we sell now. For the leaves we have developed a process to make a cattle feed, but also need to purchase the equipment to process this. Currently the polo clubs in Thailand import horse feed so this will be a viable market too. Therefore we are using 100% of the plant. We are looking for a loan or investment to purchase more equipment, move to a larger processing plant and lease more land enter into more contracts with farmers to increase our supply of Kenaf. We have customers in Japan and Thailand and have had requests from Korea and other buyers in Japan but we could not meet their requirements, we are selling them what we can and they are still looking for more kenaf. our research indicates the demand will only increase in the years to come. Toyota, NEC and Dell are now starting to use the fiber for making headliners, car mats, computer and cell phone housings. They are looking at this due to the fact that it is biodegradable, less weight and envoirmentally sound. We are available to talk anytime, we are open to visits of our office in Bangkok.
