Description: I have always had a dream of one day opening up a full service veterinary clinic that is also an emergency clinic that would provide around the clock care for the patients. I would like for it to either have one veterinarian, one technician and one technicians assistant to be there overnight if there are hospitalized patients. During the times when there are no hospitalized patients I would like for there to be at least one veterinarian and one technician on call. I would also like the hospital to run as a normal veterinary hospital during the day by providing a full service veterinary hospital. I have grown up in the South Carolina lowcountry my entire life and I have 11 years experience in the veterinary field and have worked at 4 different clinics in the area and the one thing that stays the same throughout each practice is the clients complaining that the only emergency clinics close to this location are in Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. if there is a true life threatening emergency happening with a patient then there is a very large chance they will not make it to Savannah or Charleston in time to save their life so I know that this business would be very profitable and prosper quickly in this community. I already have at least one veterinarian that has committed to working here if my dream ever becomes a reality and I also have plenty of technicians and assistants that said the same. Our area is in desperate need of a true emergency clinic so no more pets pass away simply due to time restraints.
