Dubfest began between two Volkswagen and Audi enthusiasts - Doug Scott (a sales executive), Tom Nesheiwat (a Graphic designer / consultant). We are a couple of long time friends that would show our personal project cars together. There where other enthusiasts that where unhappy with current Volkswagen and Audi show organizations. We recognized this fact and came together for ideas on giving the public what they wanted. So thus Dubfest ’99 was created. We originally gauged Dubfest exclusively for water-cooled VW Audi cars but realized there was a demand and need for growth. We decided to add air-cooled, Porsche, Crossover Brand, and a Lifestyles section to Dubfest increasing our demographic. Knowing that Dubfest brings cars from all over the nation to participate, we needed to gain momentum
