This is an established health food store that sells organic food, supplements, vitamins, etc. and has a smoothie bar. There are 2 successful stores in Lubbock Texas and 2 stores in Frisco. I am looking for funding to invest in a new location in McKinney Texas where I will be 45% owner and working manager along with the founder of the store. Since I am not starting this as a new business or solely on my own, it seems impossible to get a small business loan because my partner will not be guaranteeing it. Basically, I would be an investor in an already established and very successful business. The banks consider this a personal loan and don't lend money for investments, even with collateral. I am looking for $150,000 to begin construction on the new building, marketing, ordering etc.
