Description:
I've taken my 30 years of corporate target marketing business to start Colletti Design & Direct Mail.
There are a multitude "Mom and Pop" small businesses in the
Chicago area, many of which have a hard time reaching their local
target (URL removed)e there are Internet
offerings and coupon book mailings but my idea is to go back to the tried and true direct mail card format with a new (URL removed)y local business block party mailers!
1) I group 6 to 8 local business ads (perforation between each ad for
easy tear-off) on a high-end gloss card stock 11.5 wide x 5.5 deep
mailer.
2) I send each mailer to 10,000 local residents within 1.5 mile radius
of each business.
3) Each mailer has no two competitive market businesses (for
example--no two chiropractic offices or dog groomers)
4) I sell the ad space for $425 (single column) or $800 (double). My
printing and mailing costs per mailer average $1850. So do the math and
I'm making a pretty penny!
5) I have established an exclusive printing agreement in return for great printing and mailing rates. I market Colletti Design as a
contracted rep with my printer. I am able to use their letterhead, their
business cards, their website and their reputation as a trusted
printer. This is a great leverage
advantage especially since no one has heard of my start-up company,
Colletti Design and Direct Marketing.
6) All ad payments are sent to Colletti Design. I pay my printer for the
printing and mailing services.
