(URL removed) setup to produce music, comedy, films, theater, dance, seminars, classes, family events & more. Serving North Jersey NYC metro region… & providing targeted content & product to the connected world!
Having purchased the theater where he successfully presented concert events, Charles A Brownley III (sole principle Multi Media Arts Center LLC), has renovated and equipped a new facility, located in the center of Bloomfield, New Jersey. TheMMAC opens formally this year with the anticipatory support of the community, businesses, arts orgs, government, & industry. (URL removed)
TheMMAC is uniquely positioned to take advantage of current customer trends and industry needs. Offering affordable quality entertainment nearer home serves a regional audience stressed by high ticket & gas prices. The diverse programming expands patronage catering to varied underserved contingencies.
As the only accessible first class facility with appropriately sized venues in the area, TheMMAC strategically serves an industry where artists now need more live performance opportunities to make up for lost recording revenue. Similarly, being equipped for new media production boosts exposure beyond just the real time presentations, benefiting both artists and TheMMAC brand.
In addition to base ticket, food & beverage, and rental revenues, aggressive advertising, membership & merchandise sales, while otherwise exploiting productions, personnel & systems, all insure a $2 million yearly gross, in pursuit of a growth target of $4 million. Along with tight expense, inventory and cash controls, and implementing appropriate IT solutions and other economies of scale, a profit margin approaching 25% will be achieved.
To date Brownley has personally contributed $250,000+ to this project. Additional resources (min $300,000) are required to upgrade HVAC/fire systems, to purchase a liquor license, to fund and staff full operations.
This venture’s viability is enhanced and risks are mitigated given Brownley’s three-decade industry experience running similar operations, including his prior success in this particular theater! More than a startup, this venture is an expansion upon existing enterprise. ((URL removed))
