My company currently is responsible for R&D, production, marketing, shipping and sales of a game I made well over 20 years ago. I have created a pro wrestling rpg called Blood'N'Gutz Role Play Wrestling Game. We have been on the market since August 2007 and have managed to garner much attention over the last 4 years. With our pro wrestling version players have total freedom. Our company offers many different aspect for players to enjoy. A customer can either purchase the classic rpg game and play in their home as they create their wrestlers, federations, feuds etc, or they can create a wrestler to compete online against people from all over North America and The U.K. Our FREE online league in our site forums to allowed players to compete weekly. Every week a different player becomes the Promoter creating the matches, feuds and writing the event up to post every Monday. Unfortunately due to the increased activity on the site, over 850, 000 page hits weekly, we were unable to prevent spammers from posting inapropriate links. The forums have been disabled as a result.
The next logical step for us is the MMORPG aspect! With pro wrestling companies taking in over $550 million a year, over 2.5 million in attendance for live shows a year, over 21 hours of television programming weekly in the U.S. alone! We feel an MMO of our game would not only corner the (URL removed) would create one!
Everything is currently run 'in house' effectively saving large amounts not having to go outside for game design, website construction and design etc. We are looking for funding to continue advertising the current version as well as continue on the MMO path.
