Description:
The Sports Development Foundation is a non-profit, 501-c-3 organization that makes sports training and playing opportunities available to youth and high school athletes who otherwise would not be able to afford them. The Foundation does not provide training itself but rather outsources it to "teammate" facilities across the country.
Given that cost is a major deterrent to participation in youth sports, we are seeking funding to 1)provide opportunities to many underserved athletes 2) support the operational and administrative costs of the Foundation and 3)provide the financial resources necessary to demonstrate financial stability when applying for grants from pro sports team foundations and corporate foundations.
