Business Description, Operations and Management Team
On The Move (OTM) is a newly formed company that will engage in the business of commercial recreational Surrey cycle rentals. Unlike standard dual wheel, single-seat bicycles, OTM will feature unique quad wheel, multi-seat cycles typically found at vacation hotels, resorts, and other family recreational venues across the worldsuch as Walt Disney World in Florida.
OTM will make these fun and unique cycles available for short term rental at public venues such as the Detroit Belle Isle Park. Such a venue currently features families (with children), couples, friends, groups, and tourists who represent the ideal, prospective customers for OTM. Moreover, such a venue also affords a relatively safe environment for customers to operate and enjoy a leisurely ride while taking in the sights and sounds of the outdoors. The cycles will integrate seamlessly into the venue because they are safe, low-speed, easy to operate and quiet with minimal impact on the environment.
OTM plans to offer two lines of product / service, namely:
1) Recreational Quad Cycle Rental – a service line of recreational four-wheel cycles available for short-term rental and use within an outdoor park or campus environment.
2) Packaged Foods – a product line of pre-packaged sandwiches, light snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Under its recreational cycle rental business line, OTM plans to offer a choice of two types of cycles for rent, namely:
i. Four-wheel two-seater cycle – featuring sturdy steel frame construction, dual steering wheels, drum brakes, fenders and components, polyurethane moulded seats, and LED-powered headlights.
ii. Four-wheel four-seater cycle - featuring sturdy steel frame construction, dual steering wheels, drum brakes, fenders and components, polyurethane moulded seats, and LED-powered headlights.
An initial fleet of six cycles, three of each of the two types listed above, will be acquired to launch the business. The Detroit Belle Isle Park, featuring over 980 acres of land and hundreds of thousands of visitors per year, Dodge Park and other most visited Parks will be sought as a base of initial operation, using an operational schedule as follows.
