Description: Rosa’s Horchata is a specialty beverage manufacturer that will be re-introducing its line of premium Horchata flavors, targeting the fastest growing consumer group in the United States - Mexican Americans. Rosa’s will be offering three flavors of Horchata, plus a low calorie version, and a caffeine/energy version. Horchata, is a traditional beverage of the Mexican community. It combines the unique flavors of cinnamon and rice flour, with a sweet, cool, creamy and soothing texture. In its native Mexico, Horchata is often consumed to cool down from the hot weather, or to alleviate the burn of many spicy dishes. Traditionally, Horchata has been made in the home through a time consuming process. It can also be found, on a very limited basis, in local Mexican restaurants and Mercados. Rosa’s brings the highly desired taste and tradition of premium Horchata to an attractive, ready-to-drink, convenient package. Bringing additional convenience to both the consumer and the retailer, Rosa’s uses a highly sophisticated manufacturing process to make this milk-based product shelf stable, requiring no refrigeration until it's ready to be consumed. Horchata is a staple of the Mexican and Mexican-American communities. The U.S. market for this specialty product is significantly underserved. Beginning in late 2008, Rosa's will distribute and advertise heavily to five cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and San Francisco. Rosa’s Horchata, LLC is organized as a Limited Liability Company in the State of Illinois pursuant to 805 ILCS 180 et set. seq.
