valuation analysis – n : the process of determining the
value of an asset or company. There are many techniques for conducting
valuation analysis, and it is often partially objective and partially
subjective. Approaches used in valuation analysis include: the analysis of
market multiples of comparable companies, and discounted cash flow analysis
based on pro forma financial projections.
