Maritime Broadband is well positioned as the catalyst for the shipping communication revolution. The Company’s unique solution centers around its proprietary, low cost, high performance stabilized, tracking VSAT antenna system, C-Bird™. The C-Bird™ antenna is designed to operate in the C band radio frequency range which is optimum for global ocean coverage. Over the past 6 years, the principals together with various engineering teams developed the C-Bird™ antenna based upon industry requirements as defined by a seasoned and technically savvy ship owner.
The Company is presently seeking equity funding of $1 million to complete the prototype production, accomplish sea trials of the C-Bird™ antenna and to affect the product launch. A minimum of $2 million of additional financing through debt and/or equity is projected to be required from May 2010 to November 2010 to provide cash flow to fund production and installation operations. The Company’s projections indicate positive cash flow by April 2011.
