Description:
FDSN is a Louisiana-based organization working exclusively with Native American communities devastated by last year's hurricanes. They are providing short and long-term relief aid, working in solidarity and respect for the local communities and the preservation of their cultures. These tribes are not federally recognized. One aspect of this initiative which I am organizing is the creation of communal and community gardens wherever the elders request. This is a long-term effort to provide space for food and medicinals.
