Description:
This company has been a vehicle for my creative talents, including performing arts training and production; self-publishing a (school-age) children's story; and operating a small-event catering service.
I would like to establish a not-for-profit arts and humanities school for youth. This organization would have an impact on an area of the country which is in need of youth educational programming. Providing a facility for proper arts training with academics enabling college and career access for an under-served population, and serving the area as a life-enhancing organization through public presentations, productions, and promotion of the area's currently unrecognized talent. (personal note: in July of 2010, my son and I survived a devastating fire, which destroyed the bldg I was living in, and resulted in the loss of everything I owned (including my business). The fire was caused by suspected arson, and I am currently attempting to re-establish myself. YOUR assistance would enable the founding of a unique long-term project that could have far-reaching influence into the future. Thank you.
