Description: House of Sunshine is a group home for foster children in the custody of the Department of Children and Families. We teach our children life skills and give them the love and support they need to form and pursue their goals and dreams. We do everything possible to give our children a life as normal as possible. Our first home is already established and has been operating successfully for almost one year. Due to our waiting list and inquiries from the child placing agencies, we are planning to open our second home. Our current home shelter six girls and we are planning to open a home sheltering 6 boys. Our program is unique and different from other group homes because we offer life skills and goal planning for our children. There are only about 6 other group homes in the state offering this
