Description: CBCG is a well-established engineering and consulting firm in advanced nuclear energy and grid storage systems. We have two development projects underway, an advanced small modular reactor plant design (250MWe) based on liquid-metal technology which we predict will halve the cost of electricity production from traditional nuclear plants and be competitive with gas plants. Second, we are developing a large-scale grid storage system that will be less expensive than current battery designs and can be used with renewables to levelize generation or with our clustered nuclear facility for load following w/o adjusting plant operations. The nuclear technology is mature, NRC licensing compliance has been independently validated by a National Laboratory. Need early stage investment partners to formalize design for marketing and licensing. Grid storage battery is in early confirmatory test stage, expect to move to second stage in late January - currently self-funded . CBCG has been awarded three separate grants from the Department of Energy to support development of this technology.
