Description:
Let me introduce myself, my name is William Stallone. I grew up with an apron wrapped around me from a young age, working side by side with my father, uncle, and brothers. To this day we still sit around my mother’s dinner table and reminisce of the fond memories from the original Stallone’s Italian Kitchen & Bakery.
I am the grandson of the Great and Late Francesco Stallone and the third generation of Stallone’s to continue the family legacy. Our families’ roots came from Bari, Italy on my grandfather’s side and Calabria on my mother’s side. Which both sits in the Southern regions of Italy.
Francesco made a name for our family coming to the U.S. and starting an Import/Export company bringing the finest olive oils, imported fine & rare Cheeses, as well as numerous other delectable delicatessens to sell at his store.
Frank & Vito who are my uncle and father grew up in the business and decided to branch off and start their own enterprise by opening the first Stallone’s Italian Kitchen and Bakery in 1921 in Queens Near JFK airport. Later expanding in the late 1950’s to two free standing buildings and Stallone’s Bakery which they would eventually retire from in the mid 1990’s and my brother took over and opened just one store in Boca Raton, Florida.
The brother’s reached back to their family roots in Southern Italy to bring back Old-World recipes, prepared and served in the Old Country Style. “Where Everyone Who Dines is Family!” You can still visit the Boca Raton store and see Vito (My Father) and his lovely wife Marge (My Mother) tinkering in the kitchen and greeting guests. Stallone’s Italian Kitchen became one of the Largest Premier Catering Businesses in NYC for decades serving the finest traditional Italian foods, pastries, and baked goods.
My vision is to take Stallone’s Italian kitchen to a whole new level. Where I will not compromise the traditional style and recipes of Stallone’s Italian Kitchen but make it more accessible to today’s busy lifestyle and families. Every family wants to make sure their loved ones are served wholesome, nutritious food, but most families don’t always have the time to shop and prepare meals that meet these needs and opt for quick, convenient foods that might not always be the most nutritious or healthy choices.
After much consultation, research, and generations of knowledge, including partnering as the largest distributors of Arizona Iced Tea, Red Bull and other brand labels from 1992-1998. I have an expert knowledge base of what it takes to start a concept, market it properly among several service providers and lines, as well as connecting it to the day-to-day consumer in the most quality-controlled delivery system. Listed below are the concepts I wish to implement to make Stallone’s Italian Kitchen and everyday name and hopefully a staple in American Family Homes:
Open Restaurants throughout central and Southern Florida, starting with one new location.
Commercially prepare, sell and distribute Stallone’s Traditional Southern Italian Sauces that are labeled with the photo of Frank & Vito Stallone and the Family story.
“Stallone’s On the Go” Bake at home Pizza’s. Pastas and Meal Kits that will be distributed on a national level to grocers, food retailer and specialty markets
Catering Trucks for delivery, catering events and Charity events.
And lastly but most importantly, Stallone’s Italian Kitchen has always been dedicated to giving back a portion of all our proceeds to our community. As a dear friend once told me “You must take care of your Own Backyard!” Stallone’s commitment to our community has been just that by hosting numerous and participating in 1000’s of events over the years.
Thank you for all your consideration. Please feel free to check out our website, store and contact me at any time with any questions or concerns.
