Description: I am attempting to find and use the correct technology that will be capable of detecting gold artifacts at an average of 3 meters depth in some of the most hostile terrain in the world that has interest. The soil is conductive, volcanic and magnetic to the extreme. The targets are gold figurines and jewelry buried by ancient people in Central America for storage and most often spiritual purposes. They are called "huaca lines". These lines are typically on a East to West direction. There are thousands of these just in the area of Central America that I have been working. The technology that I have used there at my own expense has failed to accomplish the task even after months of use in order to exhaust all avenues. This includes being in contact with the manufacturers of the equipment in the field. The types of equipment utilized has been coil detectors such as the Lorenz X5 PI with 40" coil and geo-logger, SSP-2050 PI with 40" coil and the Minelab GPX-5000 with 18" coil. All of these coil detectors failed to do as advertised. None of these coils could penetrate the soil by more than a 1/2 meter. I have tried GPR units like the OKM Rover-C Deluxe but found that GPR units are not able to penetrate more than 1 1/2 meter depth and also not practical in the jungle due to the terrain. I have used units that emit carrier waves to read the resistance of the soil/metals such as the Mother Load Locator but found that the operator can be ghosted by highly enriched clays. I have also used very controversial equipment know as long range locators. I have employed the Goldgun, Treasure Navigator and the Scanmaster Quad 1550 without success I believe due to the strong magnetic anomalies in the area that I have been working. The idea is to find and utilize equipment that can detect the isotopes that form around gold artifacts. Not the artifacts themselves. The gold artifacts would have to be buried for hundred of years in order for the isotopes to reach within a few inches of the surface in order to be detected. There is available additional equipment that can do this but at this stage I need funding to continue. This is relic/treasure hunting to the extreme. The product is gold artifacts of various different sizes, shapes and amounts placed in holes at a depth of an average of 3 meters and at a minimum of 450 years ago. After spending years in the field with expert Huaqueros I have learned the use of the iron rod probe that has been employed in finding these artifacts since the days of the Conquistadors. The problem with the use of this instrument is even if you find by feeling the soil with this probe and read the signs to determine if this was a previously dug hole that does not mean there is anything in it of value. The goal is to eliminate this problem and revolutionize the art of relic hunting in this field and others around the world. Once the proper electronics has been discovered to work the return revenue will be substantial. Please see (URL removed) for more information.
