Description:
We are seeking to open a roller skating rink and family enrichment center (basketball, dancing, birthday party venue, arcade games, exercise, etc) in a small town in the center of Texas. The town is about a 40 minute drive from the nearest larger city. Though the town is small (12,500 in the town and surrounding area), there is currently no movie theater, bowling alley, arcade or other commercial entertainment venue available without driving at least 40 miles.
The requested loan (optimal amount would be between $75 and $85k) would enable us to purchase the property, do the necessary repairs (less than $7000), obtain the roller skates and cover other expenses to open the business. It would also cover several months of expenses, until the business could become operational.
I have a business plan, including financial projections available for prospective lenders or investors.
The property purchase also includes an additional 30,000+ sq ft building (located on one complete downtown block) that can either be developed at a later date or sold to pay off a portion of the original loan.
