The Ovation Casing System – a new industrial machine - automates the process of assembling a pre-hung interior or exterior door more completely than equipment currently on the market. The Ovation Casing System consolidates 7 manufacturing functions into an automated process easily run by a single operator.
The Ovation Casing System’s standard configuration can supplant 5 to 7 employees typically required to operate a current market pre-hung door line. This productivity improvement yields approximately $286,000 annual savings per production line operating on a 7.5 hour shift. In its standard configuration, the Ovation Casing System is capable of producing more than 300 pre-hung doors per shift (76 seconds to assemble a door). Other configurations are capable of producing in excess of 800 pre-hung doors per shift.
In addition to the cost savings, the Ovation Casing System has eliminated variability in the production process and thus produces consistent quality on every door within very precise design tolerances.
