Description:
Be part of the boom that is gripping the resources sector in Australia. Mining and oil & gas companies are set to spend billions of dollars on projects across the country. There are $76 billion in projects commencing with another $30 billion in the final stages of planning.
I am seeking an investor /or investors to help fund the consolidation of several small complimentary companies as well as the introduction of new services to their clientele. The opportunity exists in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Australia. The business will provide services to three key industry sectors undergoing a massive growth in Australia; mining, oil & gas and construction.
The business concept will be well received across all the industry and will provide sustainable long term growth and solid returns to investors.
Good returns / long term sustainable business: an opportunity to be part of some of the largest projects undertaken around the world today. Australia’s resources sector is experiencing unprecedented growth and is expected to continue this growth for the next 10 to 15 years. The resources training market is substantial in size and will grow at a similar rate to industry sector. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics there are currently 1.4 million people employed in the target markets, of which around 50% require training on an ongoing basis. Employment growth is expected to average over 2.2% over next 5 years.
Skills Shortage; due to the rate of growth and volume of projects occurring at the same time, Australia is experiencing a significant shortage of skilled workers. To meet the demand the Australian Government has announced an additional $3 billion in funding for skills training, this brings the total level of Government funding to $7 billion over the next 5 years. This is being supported by many of the companies operating in our target markets with an average of 2% of total wages now invested in training.
Strong experienced management team; the management team have many years experience working in the VET sector in Australia, servicing companies in the mining, oil & gas and construction industries. We have an excellent understanding of the training laws and requirements in Australia. Our belief is that our people should always come first, we take care of our people and they will take care of our customers. We have worked in various management roles across diverse businesses.
Outstanding growth & expansion opportunities: initially the business will focus on key industries in a single Australian state; the business model however can be applied to many industries across all states of Australia, by acquisition or through a simple expansion strategy.
